Reports to: Enrollment Center Coordinator
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm until 12/31/08; Effective 1/1/09: 10 hours/day Monday – Thursday.
Nature of Duties: Under general supervision performs a variety of general work such as: greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing telephone calls, distributing mail, maintain filing and record-keeping systems for the department, assist with admissions and registration duties. Some lifting is required including moving books and copy paper as needed. A professional and neat appearance is required at all times. Willingness to travel to various campus locations as needed for training and support is a must.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. One year of experience performing clerical tasks of routine difficulty. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a diverse population.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to applicants with three years experience within the last seven years working in an administrative office or customer service environment. Excellent computer software skills/experience preferred. Experience in data entry into Banner is a plus.
Salary/Benefits: Salary range begins at $20,353. Benefits include paid state holidays, vacation, retirement, personal and sick leave, and the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
