Location: Douglas Campus - Douglasville, GA
Department: Academic Affairs
Reports to: Instructional Manager
Nature of Duties: Teaching responsibilities include lecture, laboratory and clinical activities. Faculty must possess the ability to teach all phases of the Basic and Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician curriculum. Classes are taught in the evenings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Diploma from an accredited post secondary institution or an equivalent military medical/hospital-based or company sponsored training program
- Current State of Georgia Paramedic certification
- Level II EMT Instructor Georgia certification
- BCLS Instructor certification
- Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference may be given to applications with previous teaching experience in postsecondary education.
