West Central Technical College is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia which is administered by the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education. The system is comprised of 34 technical colleges, three University System Colleges with Technical Divisions, and the Georgia Virtual Technical College.
West Central Technical College, with campuses in Carroll, Coweta, Douglas, and Haralson Counties, has served as the primary education provider for the area’s workforce since opening its doors in 1968.
West Central Tech enjoys and excellent reputation in the community it serves and has a long standing equitable association with the local press. This collaboration serves to better inform the public of the opportunities, activities, and events in the life of the College and provides local media the opportunity to do much public service each time an article or public service announcement is prominently displayed.
