WCTC WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL TEAM PLAYS SATURDAY

With a short inaugural season, the West Central Technical College Golden Knights women’s volleyball team will play its final home match of the season Saturday, April 26 in Carrollton.

The undefeated Knights (4-0) take on the winless Coosa Valley Tech Bruins in a dual meet. The winner will need to take 3 of 5, 30-point games.

“We encourage our community to come out and support these student athletes,” President Dr. Skip Sullivan said.

The match begins at 1 p.m. at the Central High School Old Gym. Games are open to the public and admission is free.

After Saturday, the remainder of the schedule will consist of tri-meets with CVTC and Northwestern Tech held on May 3 and 17 at Georgia Highlands College in Rome and May 10 at Ridgeland High School in Rossville, Ga.

West Central Technical College, with campuses in Carroll, Coweta, Douglas and Haralson counties, offers over 90 associate degree, diploma and technical certificate programs of study.
